Description

Hi Smiley is an innovative dental App that creates a 3D printable model of personalized smile design and a realistic 3D visualization for the patients. For the dentists, the software provides an automatized dental treatment process which improves the final aesthetic result and the satisfaction of the patients. Dentists can customize the design and, once the final teeth configuration has been approved, Hi Smiley can create a 3D printable model. The 3D model can be transferred to the mouth of the patient through a non-invasive method and further improved before performing any permanent dental procedures, such as crowns or veneers. For the patients, Hi Smiley creates a realistic smile design visualization that they can preview on a photo of their face.

To create a smile design, the dentist or the patient first starts the mobile or the web app https://hismiley.com/ and creates a new case as a guest or as a registered user. Then they upload or shoot a facial photo with a broad smile and visible teeth. Hi Smiley uses advanced AI to calibrate and analyze the photo. It calculates the best aesthetic smile design according to the facial shape and visualizes it over the original teeth. The design can be customized with the help of editing tools. To complete the clinical case, the dentist can upload an intraoral 3D scan of the patient’s jaw. Hi Smiley analyzes the 3D model of the jaw with machine learning and positions the teeth from the selected design. Finally, the dentist can export an editable and 3D-printable .obj file and provide it to the dental lab.
